Haunted gaming: Mon
I downloaded a Pokemon Red rom. It was called MON.exe. I opened it up, the folder had these files:

I started playing. The starter was a level 1 Charmander. The stats were glitchy, and looked like it had been overleveled. I saw a bit of text that said: A4AF FFFF. I saw this as hex data. The debug menu opened, and CUSTOMFLY was there. I chose A4AF FFFF and flew to...
TRUCK
Truck had some music like Cerulean's but slightly slower. The map was like a maze with 3 Poke balls, 7 potions, and a "Mystic Ball" item. I used it, and the battle transition was shown. I was against a level 99 Raticate. I had a move called "Nuclear Fusion". I used it, but it said "This may have undesirable effects. Continue?" in red bold text. I clicked yes, and the game restarted. I pushed the power, but it turned itself on with the Nintendo jingle, but there was a trefoil symbol replacing it. The screen faded to red, and it panned about the Pokemon world showing destroyed houses. I even saw myself, dismembered, in a pool of blood beside my Charmander. He was so ashamed, sad music played as he grabbed a rope. He tied it to the ceiling of the balcony, another end to his neck. He said something softly. "I just wanted to be with you... See you tomorrow..." He jumped off, his neck violently breaking and bleeding. "I.t...just.....was...nt...r.i.g.h.t....to..d..o... tha.t.." He slowly took a last breath, rising up as sad funeral music played for 5 minutes. When he reached the top, we were together. I asked his name, it was Tom. My brother's name was Tom. My mom said to come downstairs. She said he had died in a car crash. She asked if I wanted to spend time with him, I said yes. I pressed a button on my Game Boy. I suddenly died. My mother said that I knew how sad I was. We met each other at the top, and we had a family reunion. Tom said we could play old bootleg tapes. I agreed and we proceed to the next pasta.
